There are certain levels that will be adopted by insurance companies in determining what amount of compensation to offer claimants. I do agree however that the first offer put forward could be challenged, but sensibly. If you do instruct a good personal injury solicitor you should feel comfortable that they will offer sound advice and professional support. It would be very sensible to use common sense and confidence. When the injury lawyer makes the presentation of offer ask what they believe the settlement should be. Better still when your case is undertaken ask the personal injury solicitor what the compensation settlement is likely to be!
