As insurance brokers we have to move with the times and yes there is a clear traffic toward the online quotes market and we have to go with it. There is also clear evidence as well that prices are getting keener and more competitive, mainly because of the price comparison companies who are dominating the online scene. Yes the car insurance call centres might be here for a while but if everyone is gearing up like my company there will be a massive move toward the buy online solutions that are now being sought after. Motor insurance was once a holy grail of administration and compliance but it does appear that standards are beginning to slip in favour of getting the business. Buying car insurance from an online quotes system puts much of the emphasis on quality and honesty back on the consumer
